It was a dance of nature that made Tommy Flagg decide to become a promoter of the dance. Mother earth's movement, in the form of a 1994 tornado, tore down enough timber on Flagg's Kingwood tree farm to create a two-acre circle. The former actor turned dance promoter envisioned this circular region of this property as an ongoing outdoor arena, a natural stage, where artists and dancers could enchant audiences...

"Here on the farm both audience and performers enter into a communal experience," Flagg says. "An experience where audience, performer and nature all strike an equal balance."

Flagg's vision has brought professional dancers from all over the world to perform at Terpsichore's outdoor amphitheater and on other New Jersey stages.
