Thomas K. Flagg, producer, arts advocate, actor and talent manager, boasts an impressive resume in the industries of arts and entertainment. His body of work is unique and prolific, bridging the gap between the commercial and concert sectors of dance, theatre, film, and television.
While earning his BA in Theatre and Dance at Skidmore College, a career was already under way. Having formed affiliations with such dance luminaries as Metropolitan Opera Choreographer, Zachary Solov, New York Times Dance Critic, John Martin, Founder of New York City Ballet and its affiliate school, Lincoln Kirstein, among others, Flagg sought the guidance and mentorship of these and other prodigious figures to organize and produce dozens of theatrical events locally, in Saratoga, and throughout New England at Jacob’s Pillow and the Joyce Theatre.
His background as a generous patron and avid representative of nearly fifty arts organizations prompted Flagg to found and direct TERPSICHORE SAND Sanctuary for Art, Nature, and Dance, a non-profit organization focused toward celebrating arts in nature. His 200-acre woods provided a fertile setting in which dancers, choreographers, and musicians could come to collaborate, exhibit, and perform new works in the serenity of a natural environment. An educational legacy emerged. The not-for profit organization documented and assembled nine separate education packages for in-school workshops, to encourage students to learn about, make, and experience the arts.
Between projects, Flagg enjoys taking time to pursue his love of acting. Under the name of Jack Goode, Jr., he has worked in film and television alike, earning credits which include Dick Tracey, New York Stories, Tango and Cash, Moonlighting, and All My Children.
Today, Thomas K. Flagg and Terpsichore Productions have created and developed more than twenty bankable dance vehicles to appear in feature film, television, direct video, and live concert/Las Vegas stage. His commercial concepts range from evocative, dance-driven reality shows to fiery live entertainment spectacles a la Cirque du Soleil.
Terpsichore Management and Consulting boasts a broad client base of the most notable dancers, choreographers, and entertainers in the industry.
